Shawnise McCane is a recent graduate of the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga with a BS in Psychology. She plans to further her education and will pursue a PsyD. Degree throughout the upcoming school semesters. She has been with Chattanooga Recovery Center since August of 2020. Shawnise provides support to clients by organizing outside services and offering guidance in personal avenues of interest such as Finances, Heath Care Appointments, Legal Affairs and After Care Services. She facilitates substance use and mental health groups by creating an inclusive environment and giving clients an opportunity for reflection. Shawnise aims to work with respect, empathy, and integrity for clients and all members of the Chattanooga Recovery Center Community.
